SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST EVIL!     (Cheri)

I've done jigsaw puzzles with a bunch of you, but you may not know that Mark likes to do them, too.

This makes me happy; we work on them a lot.

This was another fun puzzle.  I definitely have a "type" of puzzle that I like best.

Mark basically refused to work on this one, which had a lot of similar colors:

Consequently we worked next on this one, which was part of a haul that we brought home from Mark's sister:

So what's "evil"?  That top puzzle is all vintage books, and parts of it were clearly digitally replicated in other areas.  Some books - and the surrounding books - were found two or three places throughout the puzzle.  Some books showed 5-7 times, with two or three different surrounding book strings.

That's just wrong!

LOL! You are so right! My sister and I love doing puzzles, but Bob--not so much. Every year, 8 sisters (in varying senses of the word) meet on the Oregon coast for a long weekend. Much drinking and hilarity, but an ever-present activity is a puzzle. Usually we finish it before the weekend is over. So fun.

Hey, Lana! I'm guessing whether you finish depends upon how soon the drinking starts, compared to puzzling?

I looked at the first puzzle and saw the repeats. That is just wrong! I agree.

I love doing puzzles. But as you know, I gave most of mine away to a family who enjoys doing them together.

I wonder if Susan Stillinger still does them

Now I do at least two small puzzles a day on my computer. Just 36 or 64 pieces. Love, Marian

Ah, yes, I do hope Susan still has someone to do puzzles with. Sandy had to be a great loss to her!

I've kept only two or three that I've done before - really only one that I can think of - so it's a good thing that we have thousands for sale at our local used book store, and that Mark's sister and dad exchange with us.
