I told you there was a lot to see at QuiltCon! Barbara Strick's Bullseye won the Best of Show award, and I still have three posts coming later on. Piecing curves isn't particularly easy, and this seems flawless. I would like to do something similar . . . in theory, at least. Another great use of a cheery color scheme: The artist could have applied these little strips to the tops of her piecing, but she didn't! Here are three that used the same set of fabrics: This artist provides you with an idea if you want to view her quilt a little literally: I like to utilize pre-used fabrics sometimes. I love what this artist did with a wide variety of fabrics and a random block. (No, I don't see blue, either. I compared the color on the Best of Show against a professional photograph online, and it looks accurate, so I'm not sure what the explanation is.)

I enjoyed Seaglass Reflections the most. I loved the transition from dark to light in the blues. The yellow could be the sun changing the colors.
