Huh!  Who would have guessed that it would be nearly five months after we left Monterey before we got our blog running?
It's not that we haven't been out, about, adventuring.  We've seen a lot of North Carolina so far, but I've had technical issues with the domain.  [Wiping hands motion]  Done with that!

The picture above is one that Mark took at Fort Monroe in Virginia, where we are for the next couple of days.  He'll tell you more about that tomorrow.

Here are a few pictures of the trailer that we bought.  It's an unusual model, with several floor-to-ceiling windows.  The woman that we bought it from had ripped out the traditional furniture and we inherited her cheery couch and rugs.  (These are from her listing, including some of the things that I gave back to her, like the table and chairs inside, and the funky blue-and-white mirror.)  There is a bedroom, but the pix that I have show too much of her taste, none of ours.

More later!

So fun to hear of your travels!
I am fascinated about your home on wheels, do the “extensions” retract?
And the reason for North Carolina?
I love Asheville myself.
52 degrees and nippy but full of poppies in Monterey.

The trailer looks so comfortable, spacious and colorful!
I am sure you will enjoy it much more than a hotel! Happy Trails!

Yes, Judy, it is super comfortable. Even the bed is super, so much so that sometime Mark has to roust me in order to get out and *do* things. <G>
