It's almost time to get tickets to go to the 2024 Pacific International Quilt Festival, and last year's quilts still deserve attention. The picture above is the entirety of the quilt: an owl's eye. Here are a couple of close-ups and the artist's statement: She actually sells prints of the quilt on Etsy. There was a special exhibit of work by the African artist Uzoma Samuel, whose work was brought to the U.S. to be quilted. Here are just a couple of examples: During the pandemic, many people created quilts recording daily temperatures; here is one particularly bright example. I love how the summer and autumn seasons resemble scattered leaves: Finally, a striking quilt featuring succulents: Her life, and quilting speed, sounds a lot like mine!

Hi Marian, Yes, I would have said that the succulents was my favorite, too, except that the woman in the green headpiece is in the set, and that is just luminous!
