No? Well, the chair is a lot more "mod" than "mid-century modern," but we saw it at a very surprising furniture nearby, and I couldn't resist sharing it. I saw a sampling of the store's offerings through its Facebook page, so we headed up the other day after running some errands. It wasn't too far out of the way, but when I saw the store's facade, I had misgivings. Once we got inside, however, I had to appreciate their approach. The store's owner is clearly keen on doing what is necessary to save the buyers' pocketbooks. Some of the pieces have already been refinished, while others show what the price will be once the piece is refinished, but the work isn't performed until someone buys it. Here is one that has been readied for immediate takeaway: I loved the pop-up mirror on this dresser: There were a large number of audio systems with great character: I think this album was just a prop, but it was spot-on: I don't know what the plan for this storage piece is: but some of the category labels amused me: In case you think you can make it to Rural Hall, North Carolina, here is the owner's card: And, in case you are wondering, here is the origin of the town's name, according to its web site: Benjamin L.
