BRIGHT AND CHEERY QUILTS (Cheri)

I really wanted to go to the Knoxville Quilt Show this weekend . . .

buuut, I have to start shopping for products to be used in the construction of "09," our next home, and what a job that will be!  Once I started making lists of products, lists of questions, taking measurements, making computations, etc., I realized that designers certainly earn their money.  I definitely want to do this myself, but it's not a quick project.

In any case, I decided to console myself by posting a few more quilts that I saw at last year's Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in Virginia.  Here is the artist's statement for "Finding Neverland #3:  Plums," above:

There was a special exhibit at this show of quilts made almost entirely from vintage "Vera" linens.  These colors are just so cheery.
