The Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver, Colorado has an amazing collection of more than 800 vehicles: outstanding examples of how we can move from one place to another. This is the 1970 Honda Trail 70. 8000 RPM redline, 3-speed, 143-lbs, 72cc engine, a pristine example of the first motorcycle I ever had. I have no idea of how many thousands of miles I put on mine. I explored the countryside surrounding where I grew up on this little device, ranging far further from home then my mom could imagine. The amount of fun such a little motorcycle could produce is impossible to describe. This 1941 Cadillac sixty One Coupe is one such example, built when cars had style! Some of the art posters from the bicycling exhibit: Ever since visiting the Blanco Buggy Museum in Texas with my dad, I have an increased appreciation for buggies. This is a wonderful example of a work buggy: If you wanted a Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in 1965, but needed it to work to make the payments, you could always convert it to a tow truck like this Denver businessman did for his repo business: This is a 1955 Messerscmitt KR200 tiny car: This little car had a 10-horsepower, 2-stroke engine of less than 200 cubic centimeters. It was fully enclosed and carried two people in a tandem seating arrangement. A couple more Cadillacs from the extensive collection, beautiful lines and what attention to detail on the chrome and paint. In 1982 Honda Motorcycles brought out this beautiful FT 500: I was riding my very high-milage Suzuki TS185 everywhere; it was my primary form of transportation as it was cheaper to operate than my 1968 VW Karman Ghia.
I wanted the Honda so bad I could taste it. But saving money for school was more important, that old delayed gratification idea. Seeing this beautiful mint Honda did bring back memories!

Marian, When the physical therapy clinic was providing all of our income, my parents suggested maybe *now* was the time that Mark quit riding a motorcycle?? Didn't work.
