If you are in Atlanta You should consider taking at least part of the day to go to the Delta Air Museum. They have exhibits the whole family can enjoy. You would expect to see lots of exhibits like this. And you will not be disappointed. Both inside the hangers, and outside you will sometimes feel like you might have to duck to avoid low flying aircraft. What you might not expect is this. But if you want a fashion show you actually came to the right place. So take a place your seat in the upright position and get ready for takeoff. If you need a map to know where you are headed, you are in luck. The history of: is in the original Hanger #1 at Atlanta Airport. Delta got its start as a crop dusting company working the Delta area of Louisiana and Mississippi. The displays and exhibits chronicle the company through the good times and bad, from the humble beginnings in the dirt fields of the Delta. The first female passenger got flowers for her flight. I do not know if she got to keep the helmet, gloves, boots and goggles required for open cockpit flying. You can see the history of flight from the old crop dusting planes to the first 747 built for passengers. And standing in the cockpit of that 747 looking down to the ground from such a height . . . amazing. You feel like you are already flying.
