A couple of years ago Mark and I stayed at a hotel near Market Square in Knoxville, Tennessee.

In 1788, Virginia and Adam Peck settled in an area which was eventually named for the vivid green moss growing along the waterways.  Not surprisingly, I'd found a quilt show to attend while Mark and I were in Knoxville, Tennessee last week.  So Mark told you about our AirBnB experience. Fun! (Not.) The bigger surprise than the torrential rain and thunder, which we've experienced pretty regularly here in Winston-Salem, was how delightful downtown Knoxville is. We decided to take a short trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, as Cheri had a quilt show she wanted to see. We decided to take the Mini Cooper rather than the travel trailer and truck. As we settled into the AirBnB I was watching the clouds build up to the east of us.  We reserved a cute little place.  |
