If you have been following the blog for more than a year this title may look familiar. Last year I spent one day at the Museum and ended up with three separate posts.
In a residential suburb of Atlanta known as Buckhead, the Atlanta Historical Society has its museum, and on these grounds the Swan House is open for tours.
It is impossible in words, or pictures on a computer screen, to describe the Atlanta Cyclorama.

Even if we'd had fishing tackle, we wouldn't have been out seeking our dinner. The wind was notable, gusting up to 45 mph last night.
What caught my attention was the vehicles parked near us. I had the chance to spend most of the afternoon taking a walk around a wonderful little town in Georgia. You forget the huge city of Atlanta surrounds you when you are in Norcross. (We were astounded to learn that the Atlanta Metropolitan Area is more than three times the size of the San Jose Metropolitan Area.)
If you are in Atlanta You should consider taking at least part of the day to go to the Delta Air Museum. They have exhibits the whole family can enjoy.
