My buddy Ross said he knew of some very interesting photography possibilities in Bogota, and while it may seem very far south from Jefferson, Texas, he assured me it would not take more than an hour to get there, and he was right. Bogota, Texas, that is. As we got into the outskirts of town we came to a treasure field of old trucks. As I said to my friends Steve and Brian the other day, if you do not like old trucks, you probably are not American. The light was getting really good, and I could only get a fraction of the photos that I wanted. I love the patina and detail. Little details that in the right light will jump out; in the wrong light you will never see them. The person that collected all these lives nearby, and Ross said he knows that several of the trucks have been sold recently. You would need a tow truck to move these vehicles, though I do not think this one could help you much: The light continue to change as the sun was going down and its reflection in the glass really caught my eye, or maybe I was subliminally influenced. Bogota is a town of fewer than 2,000 people. I am not sure how many old trucks are in Bogota, and oddly, Wikipedia does not have a category for trucks-per-person! Cheri and I like to visit graveyards. When we come back to visit Ross and Judy again I hope we have time to make it back to Bogota to visit this "graveyard" again.

Thank you. I guess guys enjoy old cars. I did like the way the light enhanced some photos.
