Spring has truly sprung in Pfafftown, North Carolina! Today was a sunny 74 degrees with a gentle breeze. All sorts of birds have been serenading us all day long, a truly fine day. The daffodils sprinkled throughout the fence line and around the trees are making an appearance.

As the sun begins to retreat through the woods I wandered outside with my camera for a few minutes.

A very nice way to end a slow and peaceful day. Truly we are blessed.

Spring is arriving on the Monterey Peninsula, also. The lupin and California poppies are blooming early.

It's funny, Teri, but there aren't any lupines out here. When we got back to town today, though, the trees were just popping with blooms that hadn't been there when we left town on Wednesday!
